obtained after undergoing a course of study in Homoeopathy
of not less than 5 ½ years duration, including the period

examination obtained after undergoing a course of study
in Homoeopathy of not less than 4 years duration, including
the period of compulsory internship. Candidates for the
postgraduate course shall be selected by the University
on merit. Preference may be given to a candidate who has
worked in rural areas for at least 2 years OR passed the

Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: The
candidate should have passed the M.B.B.S. degree examination
of this University OR of any other university accepted
by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto. The candidate
has, after admission to the course, worked for 3 years
in the appropriate department of Medical College maintained
by or affiliated to this University as Post graduate in
General Medicine or specialty and, has undergone a course
of instruction extending over a period of 3 academic years
provided, however, that in the case of candidates who
have undergo e Senior House Surgeoncy for one complete
year in the concerned speciality, in a medical college
hospital OR in an institution approved by the Medical
Council of India for the purpose OR those who have put
in one year of service as teacher/tutor in the concerned
speciality in medical colleges OR those who have passed
the Diploma examination, if any, in the concerned speciality
OR those who have undergone training for one complete
year in MNAMS/MAMS/Diploma of National Board Examination
in a medical college or in an institution recognised for

MASTER OF SURGERY DEGREE COURSE (M.S.) |

Duration:
3 years
The admission to the course is based on the entrance
examination conducted by the Entrance Exams Directorate
Eligibility:
Candidates should have passed the M.B.B.S. degree examination
of this University OR of any other University accepted
by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto. They have
to work for 3 years in a teaching hospital maintained
by or affiliated to this University as Post graduate in
General Surgery or Speciality. Provided, however, that
in the case of candidates who have undergone Senior House
Surgeoncy for one complete year in the concerned speciality
in a medical college hospital or in an institution approved
by the Medical Council of India for the purpose or those
who have put in one year of service as teacher/ tutor
in the concerned speciality in the medical colleges or
those who have passed the Diploma examination, if any,
in the concerned speciality or those who have undergone
training for one complete year in MNA/ MMS/MAMS/Diplomat
of the National Board Examination in a medical college
or in an institution recognised for the purpose by the
Medical Council of India in addition to Internship or
Rotating House Surgeoncy
The candidates for the degree of Master of Surgery
shall be required to register their names with the University
paying the fees prescribed therefore, immediately after
the commencement of the course and, those who are eligible
to get exemption in the duration of the course, under
Clause 1B above, should obtain the same within 3 months
from the date of admission.

Duration:
2 years
Eligibility: Candidates will
be admitted for the diploma examinations in Medicine,
Surgery provided they have passed the MBBS degree examination
of the University or of any other university, accepted
by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto. The candidates
should also have worked in a teaching hospital maintained
by or affiliated to this University as a post graduate
student in the speciality concerned and, has undergone
the course of instruction extending over a period of 2
academic years, provided, however, that in the case of
candidates who have undergone Senior House Surgency for
one complete year, in the concerned speciality, in a medical
college hospital or in an institution approved by the
Medical Council of India for the purpose or those who
have put in one year of service as tutor/teacher in the
concerned speciality in the medical college or those
who have undergone training for one complete year in MNA,
MS, MAMS, Diplomate of the National Board of Examination
in a medical college or in an institution recognised for
the purpose, by the Medical Council of India, in addition
to internship or rotating House Surgency, the period of
post graduate study will be one year, provided, however,
that the duration of DPM course will be 24 months.
