POST GRADUATE COURSES

M Planning – Housing
Eligibility:  Candidates for admission to the M.H. degree course shall be required to have passed the BArch, BSc Engineering, B.Tech in Civil Engineering of the Kerala University OR B.Tech in Architectural Engineering of Calicut University OR any other degree considered as equivalent thereto, with 60% aggregate marks.  In the case of sponsored candidates, the minimum aggregate marks for eligibility is 55%.
Duration:   One and a half years.  Admission is based on entrance examination

M.Sc.  ENGINEERING BY RESEARCH
Eligibility:   Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering with not less than 55% marks and who have qualified in the GATE or entrance examination conducted by the University OR State level Eligibility Test conducted by the Kerala Government are eligible to apply for MSc Engineering by research course
Teachers of University departments and affiliated colleges and persons engaged in research work in research institutions will be permitted to register as Part-time Research Scholars in the concerned subjects, if they fulfil the eligibility requirements
Duration:   Minimum 3 years.  Maximum 5 years for full-time students and 8 years for part-time students
The last dates for registration are January 15th and July 15th.  The Entrance examination is during November. The application form for registration can be had from ‘The Section Officer, Forms Section, University Office, Thiruvananthapuram-34’
