BACHELOR OF EDUCATION (B.Ed) |
Duration:
Two semesters
1. No candidate shall be eligible for admission to the
B. Ed. Degree Course unless he/she has passed the Bachelor
of Arts/Science Degree Examination of this University
or an Examination recognized by the University as equivalent
thereto and has satisfied the requirements relating to
qualifying subjects and minimum marks hereinafter prescribed.
Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination
from Universities/boards outside the State shall be admitted
only after obtaining eligibility certificate from the
University of Kerala.
2. No candidate shall be eligible for admission to the
B. Ed. Degree Course in Commerce unless he/she has passed
the Master’s Degree in Commerce of this University or
an examination recognized by the University as equivalent
thereto. Other eligibility conditions are as those referred
to in (1) above.
3. The minimum marks for B. Ed admission shall be 50%
for the Science subjects and 45% for the Arts Subjects
in Part III |

ENGLISH |
B.A
Degree with English language and Literature under Part
III (45% marks) or B.A/B.Sc. with 50% marks for Part I
English. (Candidates seeking admission for B. Ed. on
the basis of Part I (English) marks of Degree examination
are eligible for admission provided they have secured
50% marks for Part I Examination. They should also possess
a Masters Degree in the same language (English) with not
less than 50% marks. These cases shall be considered
only after considering all the applicants applied on the
basis of their marks in Part III Main.)
