6.  Points to note:

  1. Admission to Merit and Management seats will be through allotment by the CEE.
  2. SC/ST Students will not be given consideration for allotment to management seats.
  3. NRI seats will be filled up by the University inviting applications. The applicants do not necessarily have to be in the CEE’s Rank List.
  4. Application form for NRI seats can be downloaded from the University Web Site: www.keralauniversity.org/uce or obtained from the College Office on payment of Rs. 50/-
  5. Downloaded applications shall be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs. 60/- drawn in favour of the Principal, University College of Engineering and payable at State Bank of Travancore, Kariavattom when submitted to this College

LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME

Diploma holders are eligible for admission directly in second year of four year B.Tech degree course from among the eligible candidates through the Common Entrance Examination conducted by LBS/Directorate of Technical Education of the Kerala State. 10% of the total intake will be allotted as additional seats for the Lateral Entry Scheme. From this, 50% will be earmarked as Management Category and 50% as pure Merit. Admission will be given through the Common Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.
