Under the dynamic leadership of Sri. R. Sankar, the founder Manager, the college made commendable progress and it is now the second largest Women's College in the State, with a strength of about 4,500 students, offering Degree courses in 14 subjects - English, Malayalam, Hindi, History, Economics, Music, Commerce, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Home Science and Post Graduate course in Home Science.

The present strength of the teaching faculty is 135 and that of the non-teaching staff is 32.
