Milad-E-Sherief Memorial College
(Kayamkulam)
 

The Milad-E-Sherief Memorial College, Kayamkulam, situated at the heart of Central Travancore, was founded in 1964 by the late Al-Haj.P.K.Kunju Sahib, a veteran freedom fighter and ex-minister of Kerala. From a humble beginning with 84 students and 9 teachers on the rolls, the college has now developed into a First Grade college with more than 4,000 students and 149 teachers and 80 members of non-teaching staff.
 

The college now offers coaching for almost all optionals at the Degree level including Industrial Micro-Biology and has got PG courses in Commerce, Mathematics and Physics The college also runs a separate course in Computer Application. The college has produced rank-holders consistently. In extra curricular activities such as N.S.S, N.C.C, and W.C.S it has earned a name for itself.
