1988, the COUNCIL ON SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION IN USA
testified that “…the admission requirements, levels,
duration and content of the two-year postgraduate
program… at Loyola College of Social Sciences with
a specialization in Medical and Psychiatric Social
Work are comparable to the organization and content
of Social Work education as offered by graduate schools
of social work in the United States. THUS YOUR MASTER
OF SOCIAL WORK DEGREE MAY BE REGARDED AS EQUIVALENT
TO A MASTER’S DEGREE EARNED FROM AN ACCREDITED AMERICAN
GRADUATE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK.”
