pioneer institution in multi-speciality teaching,

in the state, located in the north west border
of the capital city of Kerala covering an area
of 185 acres of picturesque land. The man who
relentlessly worked to construct the first Medical
College in Kerala was Dr. C.O. Karunakaran,
who is considered the Father of Trivandrum Medical
