Presently it offers under graduate courses in Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Psychology, English and Malayalam Language and Literature and post graduate courses in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Commerce, Economics and English Languages and Literature. Vocational Courses in B.Sc Polymer Chemistry and in B.Com Tourism and Travel Management are also offered.

It is also a centre of research in Zoology. The college has won 34 first and 16 second ranks at the University Examinations since 1965. The Guidance and Counselling Centre opened in 1980, the Class Teacher Counselling System, and the various Computer Courses offered to students are indeed a boon to them. The College is perhaps the only college in India which has provided a University student to partake in Olympic Games - Olympian Suresh Babu.
