Started in 1975, Government College, Attingal offers undergraduate courses in Economics, Communicative English, Commerce and Polymer Chemistry and a Postgraduate course in Economics.

 

The first batch of the students of B.Sc. Polymer Chemistry, who passed out in 1998 has brought laurels to the college, securing 100 percent pass and the largest number of first classes in terms of percentage in Kerala University.

There are three units of NSS, two units of NCC which have been serving the community around and actively particpating in most of the public programmes. Students of the college, talented in Art and Literature and athletics, have participated in University and State level competitions and brought laurels to the institution many times.
