How can I pay various University fees?
You
can make payments to the University through:-
1. Chalan at the University Cash Counter or FRIENDS Janasevana
Kendras.
2. Crossed Demand Draft in favour of Finance Officer,
University of Kerala (Only SBT draft payable at SBT Service
Branch, Thiruvananthapuram) or District Co-operative Bank
DD payable at Head Office branch of State Co-op Bank,
Thiruvananthapuram will be accepted.
Students from other States can send Demand Draft payable
at SBI Main branch, Thiruvananthapuram and Overseas students
may send DD from any scheduled bank.
Please add Rs.10/- as service charge while sending Demand
Draft ( For example if the fee is Rs.50/-, you have to
draw a DD of Rs.60/-)
Please write your name and the purpose for which the DD
is drawn, on the reverse side of the Draft. This is applicable
when you buy application form also.

How can I get my Migration Certificate from Kerala University?
You
need this certificate to 'migrate' to another University.
You have to first submit the application form for Migration
Certificate to the ‘Controller of Examinations, University
of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’ along a fee of Rs.50/-.
In addition, a search fee of Rs.50/- (if you apply one
year after your examination), Rs.100/- (if you apply 5
years after your examination) and Rs.200/- (if you apply
10 years after your examination) should also be remitted.

How to get Application Forms from KU?
You
can get your application forms from ‘the Section Officer,
Forms Section, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’
on submission of a request on plain paper along with a
fee of Rs.10/-. You can also download the forms. When
you submit a downloaded form, please add Rs. 10/- to the
fee.
4 How to obtain my Rank Certificate from KU?
You
can obtain this by applying to ‘the Controller of Examinations,
University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’ and a self-addressed
envelope with stamp(s) worth Rs.21/-. The fee is RS 25/-.
5 How to obtain my Recognition Certificate from KU?
If
you are a private candidate you can obtain your recognition
certificate on submission of a duly filled application
form along with a fee of Rs.200/- (plus late fee of Rs.50/-
after one year) and a self-addressed envelope with stamp(s)
worth Rs.21/- to ‘the Controller of Examinations, University
of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’.
If you are a regular candidate, the Principal of your
college should forward your application.
6 How to get my Matriculation Certificate from KU?
You
can get the certificate by submitting the duly filled
in application form to ‘the Controller of Examinations,
University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’ along with
a fee of RS 50/- and a self-addressed envelope with stamp(s)
worth Rs.18/- pasted on it.
7 How to get a Duplicate Degree Certificate?
This
can be obtained by applying on the prescribed form to
‘the Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram-34’ with a fee of Rs.200/-, an affidavit
from the Notary Public on Rs.25/- stamp paper, stating
that the certificate had been lost irrecoverably and the
course certificate from the Principal of the institution
where the candidate had studied for that degree course.
8 How to get an Eligibility Certificate?
One
can obtain an eligibility certificate by submitting to
‘the Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’
a duly filled in application form for eligibility certificate
along with the fee, attested copies of degree certificate,
course certificate and TC from the institution where the
candidate studied last.
The fees for each course:
Degree course: Rs.100/- for those studying inside
and outside Kerala State,
Postgraduate course: Rs.100/- for those studying
inside Kerala State and Rs.250/- for those studying outside
Kerala State and Rs.500 for courses done outside India.
9 How can I apply for Revaluation?
You
can get your answer papers revalued by submitting to ‘the
Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’
a duly filled in application form for revaluation along
with a fee of Rs.125/- per paper and a self-addressed
envelope with stamp(s) worth Rs.22/-.
10 How
can one apply for scrutiny of an answer paper?
In
order to apply for scrutiny of an answer paper, the candidate
has to apply to ‘the Controller of Examinations, University
of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’ on the prescribed form
with a fee of Rs.50/- per paper and a self-addressed envelope
stamped for Rs.22/-.
11 How can I get my Detailed Mark List?
You
can get your detailed mark list by applying on the prescribed
form to ‘the Controller of Examinations, University of
Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’ along with a fee of Rs.50/-
and a self-addressed envelope with stamp(s) worth Rs.22/-.
12 How can I get my Degree Certificate?
You
can get your degree certificate by applying on a duly
filled in application form for degree certificate along
with the required fee amount (the amount to be remitted
will be mentioned in the form) and a self-addressed envelope
with stamp(s) worth Rs.29/- to ‘the Controller of Examinations,
University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’.
The fee for Degree course: Rs.90/-.
The fee for Post-graduate course: Rs.125/-.
(A fine of Rs.50/- should be remitted for those applying
after 5 years and Rs.200/- for those applying after 10
years.).
13 How can I get a Provisional Certificate?
You
can get your provisional certificate by applying on a
duly filled in application form along with the required
fee amount and a self-addressed envelope with stamp(s)
worth Rs.22/-, to ‘the Controller of Examinations, University
of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’.
For Graduate Courses excluding Professional Courses &
self-financing courses i.e, the courses conducted in the
Unaided colleges and the Vocational courses the fee is
Rs. 50/-.
For Post Graduate courses under all faculties, Graduate
courses under the professional faculties and self-financing
courses i.e, the Unaided colleges and the Vocational courses
the fee is Rs. 100/-.
14 What is the procedure for Cancellation of
an Examination?
This should be done within two weeks from the last date of the final examination. The
candidate should submit the duly filled in application
to ‘the Controller of Examinations, University of Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram-34’, with a fee of Rs.50/- per paper.
The application form should be accompanied by a forwarding
letter from the head of the institution where the candidate
studied. The hall-ticket of the examination should also
be sent.

What is the procedure for Cancellation of Private Registration?
This
can be done by applying on the prescribed form along with
a fee of Rs.100/- to ‘the Controller of Examinations,
University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram-34’.
16 How to get Syllabus for various courses offered
by the University?
The syllabus of the various courses can be had by
submitting a request along with a DD for RS 25/- to the
‘Director, Dept. of Publications, University or Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram-34’.
17. How can I get a transcript?
You need this for submitting to foreign Universities.
You have to submit the duly filled in form to the Registrar,
University of Kerala with a fee of RS 250/- per copy.
If you have a profoma/questionnaire to be filled in by
us, the fee would be Rs. 1000/- per copy.
18. How can I get my certificate verified?
Foreign Universities and certain embassies may ask you
to get your certificate attested/verified. Apply in the
prescribed form to the Registrar. The fee is Rs. 500/-
per copy. Please send a xerox copy of your degree certificate.
